The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and skilled Second in Charge of ASD Base Provision at our Catholic 11 – 18 comprehensive school judged “Good” by Ofsted in October 2022 and “Outstanding” by the Archdiocese of Southwark in 2019.
Our school’s success can be credited to our committed and dedicated staff who strive for excellence and promote high aspirations throughout the school. The successful candidate will receive a full programme of CPD and have opportunities for career development within the school.
We are seeking a talented teacher with good knowledge of ASD/SEND and a passion for bringing out the best in students with ASD. The successful candidate will support the Base Lead in providing excellent education and in ASD/SEND.
The successful candidate will:
· Be a talented teacher, able to enthuse, inspire and develop students and staff.
· Have recent and relevant professional development in ASD/SEND
· Hold a current SpLD teaching qualification or the be committed to undertaking training for this.
· Enjoy working with young people, particularly those with ASD/SEND
