Nursery Teacher

The Governors are looking to appoint a committed and creative individual with a passion for Early Years following the retirement of one of our Nursery Teachers. 

You will be joining a well-established but welcoming team of teachers and Early Years practitioners who work closely to develop a child centred, richly diverse learning environment, inside and out, that celebrates our 'Image of The Child' and young children's characteristics for learning.

Essential: Qualified teacher status. Degree qualification. Experience of teaching within an Early Years Foundation Stage classroom (nursery or reception). Experience of planning and preparing developmentally appropriate learning experiences, activities and environments inside and out. Evidence of the effective use of observation and assessment for learning strategies. Experience of recording / tracking pupil progress and development.

Desirable: Early Years Specialism. Experience of managing support staff within a classroom. Experience of partnership working with parents.
