One to One Teaching Assistant

One to One Teaching Assistant required to support a child in the Early Years setting.

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to support a child who will be starting in our Reception class in September; a job share would also be considered. The post holder will need to be adaptable to ensure the child’s needs continue to be met as they progress through the school. This is a temporary contract depending on the needs of the child.

Successful applicants will be expected to:

• Provide support for the child’s additional needs throughout the school day, including meeting the child’s personal hygiene needs.
• Follow and contribute towards Provision Plans.
• Prepare resources and teaching materials.
• Liaise with the class teacher and SENDCO.
• Liaise with outside agencies and parents, under the guidance of the class teacher and SENDCO.
