NCC Skills is a highly successful private training company and a leading provider of English and maths qualifications for Adults in England. We work in partnership with Further Education Colleges and employers to engage with learners who have not yet achieved basic levels of literacy and numeracy. Due to our continued expansion, we are now looking to recruit an office based Quality Manager.

Purpose of the role

  • Day-to-day relationship management with all partner colleges
  • Provide a single point of contact for all enquiries from partner colleges

Key responsibilities

  • Negotiate the initial set up of contracts with partner colleges – agree terms of the contract, delivery profile, payment terms and audit compliance requirements
  • Communicate all contract requirements to the Administration Manager, Head of Quality and Head of Delivery & Partnerships.
  • Provide contract performance updates and feedback from partner colleges to the Senior Management Team and relevant department Managers
  • Schedule and attend regular contract review meetings with all partner colleges
  • Liaise with Delivery Managers to organise observations of delivery with partner colleges
  • Plan for, and negotiate, in-year contract growth with college partners in liaison with the Head of Delivery and Partnerships
  • Plan and implement entertainment and events for college partners in liaison with the Directors and the Senior Management Team
  • Drive forward growth of the NCCP membership by promoting this to all college partners
  • Utilise Salesforce to record and maintain evidence of communication with all partner colleges
  • Gain a high level of understanding of Skills Funding Agency (SFA) funding rules

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum of one years’ experience in a contract administration role in the education and training sector
  • Experience of administration of funded learning provision in the work-based learning sector
  • Knowledge of SFA Funding rules and audit requirements
  • Able to ensure contractual compliance and provide financial and performance information to agreed specifications
  • Experience of working with PICS or an equivalent ICT based MIS system
  • Proven ability in planning and meeting time, cost and quality targets
  • Able to monitor and maintain records
  • Competent in use of Microsoft Word and Excel to a minimum of intermediate user level
