Hours: 37 + INSET days

Required for September 2015 (or as soon as possible hereafter), a Head of Year to provide pastoral support to Years 8 and 9. Duties cover a range of activities including supporting student progress, managing behaviour and providing cover for absent teachers. Full details are available on our website.

In October 2010 the school successfully completed its fifth OFSTED inspection and retained its "good" grading. On 1st January 2012, we converted to academy status. BHGS holds International School Status, is a Fairtrade School and holds the Gold Artsmark Award. The school gives high priority to staff development. The school is currently benefitting form a total rebuild on the same site to open in Autumn 2016. Hatfield is within easy reach of London and the London Fringe Allowance is payable.

Bishop’s Hatfield Girls’ School is a Comprehensive Girls’ School with approximately 690 on the roll, including 133 in the Sixth Form.
