Prince Henry's Grammar School is a successful and vibrant Specialist Language College with both a national and international reputation for dynamic and inspirational work.  The school is recognised by the local and wider community as offering educational provision of the highest quality.  Our extremely positive Ofsted Report (February 2013) confirmed us as a ‘good’ school with ‘outstanding’ student behaviour and ‘outstanding’ leadership and management.

We are looking to appoint a dynamic, innovative and inspirational teacher of Drama who will continue to develop the profile and attainment of the subject.  The successful candidate will support the faculty leader in providing outstanding provision within the Performing Arts Faculty.

The successful candidate will be:

  • able to enthuse, motivate and inspire both staff and students alike
  • an excellent classroom teacher with the ability to role model outstanding classroom behaviour management and a proven record of examination results
  • a well-qualified and experienced teacher of Drama to A Level and GCSE and holding secondary QTS
  • an ability to teach dance would be desirable but is not essential
  • committed to continuous professional development

Our school is a successful and over-subscribed comprehensive school with over 1450 students – including 300 in the Sixth Form.  We serve the market town of Otley and the surrounding area, approximately 12 miles from Leeds.
