RACC has an exciting year ahead with the opening of our landmark building at our Parkshot (Richmond) site that will support the College as a hub of excellence for adult learning. We design and deliver courses in the most appropriate way to meet the needs, interests and abilities of both adults and young people who wish to learn in an adult environment.

We are looking for Personal Support Workers to support clients with a learning and/or physical disability, sensory impairments or mental health difficulties to enable then to able to access the college community.

Duties will include working with a client or designated group of people in order to ensure that their personal care needs are met, the college environment is safe and supportive, assist with financial transactions, accompanying a client to and from their home to the location of the activity and to support the client with participation in activities.

Hours are sessional term time only, and may include evenings and weekends.

Applicants should have a level 2 in English and Maths (or equivalent), and specialist knowledge of supporting learners with disabilities or learning difficulties, sensory impairment and mental health, as well as a developed understanding of Safeguarding and Equality and diversity.
