The Cavendish School Eastbourne is looking for an outstanding leader with Early Years and Key Stage 1 experience to lead and develop the Nursery and Infant phase of our brand new all-through 2-16 school. As a member of the school leadership team and a class teacher, you will be responsible for establishing the EYFS/KS1 learning environment, developing the curriculum and schemes of work to an outstanding level.

This is a fantastic opportunity and we need an ambitious Early Years Leader/KS1 Teacher with the vision and talent to create an outstanding Reception environment for September 2015 as we welcome our first cohort of two reception classes. Our plans include a new Nursery and two form entry Primary phase building ready for September 2016. The appointed Phase Leader will lead a team of dedicated and caring staff in the proposed development of the Nursery, Reception and KS 1, establishing outstanding provision, learning and progress for all our children. If you are a passionate teacher and leader who believes that with the right teaching and environment every child can succeed then we want to hear from you.

Cavendish is a popular and successful school located in a pleasant residential area and enjoys views of the South Downs.
