Phase Leader Lower KS2

South Hampstead High School, Independent Girls’ School of the Year 2022, is seeking an exceptional classroom practitioner to join our thriving Junior School on a full-time basis.

As Phase Leader, you will lead and direct the lower KS2 Phase team to achieve first class teaching and the highest possible standards of pastoral care for our girls. You will monitor pupil progress and attainment within the phase, creating and managing a caring, supportive and stimulating environment which is conducive to children’s learning. You will also undertake classroom teaching responsibilities.

We are looking for a kind, enthusiastic and inspiring individual with Qualified Teacher Status and excellent teaching skills. You will possess knowledge of current educational developments in relation to the age group and will demonstrate an understanding of the key characteristics of a quality teaching and learning environment. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential.
