Physical Education/Health Teacher for International boarding school (Japan)

NUCB International College is a new international boarding high school opened in Sep. 2022, accredited as an IBDP school by the International Baccalaureate Organization in Dec.2022, run by Kurimoto Educational Institute (KEI). NUCB International College is a world-class, co-educational boarding high school that nurtures the next generation of leaders. The school accepts a wide range of students from Japan and abroad and implements leadership education from an early age in a highly diverse environment. NIC is the only boarding school in central Japan accredited by the Ministry and Education, Culture, Sports, Science & Technology (MEXT) to offer two qualifications: the Japanese high school diploma and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). All subjects apart from language classes are taught in English, and all our students have the opportunity to be awarded the Bilingual IBDP Diploma.

Full-time teacher for Physical and Health Education

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to

-curriculum planning and delivery of well-structured lessons

-oversee the sports in the Engage Programme

In addition to the necessary knowledge and capability to teach in the subject, preference will be given to those with an official high school teaching license(Japan or other), and experience in IB schools/boarding schools.

• Qualifications

Applicants are required to meet the following requirements. Preference will be given to those with teaching experience at IB schools, an official high school teaching license(Japanese or other) and basic Japanese skills.

1. Possess a Masters degree in a specialized field (applicants are able to apply with a Bachelors degree, but preference will be given to those with a Masters degree)

2. Have the ability(or is willing) to conduct lectures in line with our mission(educational methods)

3. Minimum 2 years experience in teaching PE

1. Initial screening of application documents

2. Interview(s) (online if abroad)

　*A mock class of PE or Health will be requested.

Once these two stages are passed successfully, the candidate will be notified by email.
