Postgraduate Teacher Apprenticeships in Mathematics, Science, Geography

Are you a graduate interested in training to become a teacher from September 2024?

We are seeking graduates who are looking for the right opportunity to begin their teaching career in a supportive, creative and collaborative organisation. The apprenticeship programme provides aspiring teachers with on-the-job experience in the classroom alongside experienced educators. Apprentices will gain practical skills and knowledge that will prepare you for a successful career in education.

The course is an alternative route to traditional initial teacher training and offers a postgraduate level (PGCE) leading to Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). There are no tuition fees, and it provides the opportunity to earn while you learn.

As a teacher apprentice in one of our schools, you will work closely with our dedicated teams to create engaging lesson plans, develop assessment strategies, and build positive relationships with students. You will have the opportunity to observe and participate in classroom instruction from day one, as well as receive valuable feedback and support from our team of experienced educators.

We will provide a supportive, creative and collaborative environment to allow you to thrive and develop your practice as you train to become an outstanding teacher. With our partner, e-Qualitas you will receive high quality training and pedagogical learning, both in-school and whilst attending your training days with e-Qualitas.

You will have achieved the following minimum requirements to be eligible to apply for this position:

  • A degree awarded by a UK higher education provider, or a recognised equivalent qualification.
  • A standard equivalent to grade C/4, or above, in GCSE English and mathematics examinations
