Primary Academy / Phase Leader

This is a rare opportunity to be centrally involved in establishing an outstanding school from the outset.

In 2006, Ark Burlington Danes Academy, in White City, became the first school to open under the sponsorship of Ark. We’ve come a long way since then – in November 2013, Ark BDA secondary was rated ‘outstanding’ in all four categories by Ofsted.

Now it’s time for the next chapter in our journey. In September 2015 we’ll be opening our primary phase making Ark Burlington Danes an all-through academy, educating pupils from reception through to sixth form. The school will open with an initial two form intake, welcoming 60 pupils.

After seeing the successes we are achieving at secondary stage, we are excited about the prospect of offering an outstanding level of education to pupils of all ages. We are looking to appoint, for September 2015, an experienced and reflective Phase Leader.

As Phase Leader, you will be centrally involved in designing and delivering an exceptional curriculum and teaching programme that inspires our pupils. We are looking for someone who will instil high expectations from the outset and will do whatever it takes to ensure our pupils achieve success.

This is a rare opportunity to be centrally involved in establishing an outstanding school from the outset. You will be a founding teacher and have the opportunity to set the behaviour policy from day one. The school will share close links with the secondary school and staff will be closely supported by the outstanding secondary team.
