Al Ain English Speaking School is an established and respected co-educational international school comprising 1200 students, aged 3-18 from over 60 nationalities. We are located on the border between the United Arab Emirates and Oman in the scenic UNESCO world heritage site in the oasis city of Al Ain. The city of Dubai is an easy 80 minute drive from us. We have newly renovated modern facilities and offer a British Curriculum including Edexcel and Cambridge GCSEs and A level courses. What we are looking for:

We are looking to recruit EYFS and Primary teachers who are enthusiastic and motivated to join our newly renovated and popular multi-cultural school.
Applicants must be qualified teachers, with a UK or internationally recognised equivalent qualification. Familiarity with the English National Curriculum is essential, and a minimum of 2 years’ experience of teaching either this or the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework is desirable. We will also consider applications from successful NQTs interested in beginning their careers in an international environment.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an enthusiastic practitioner with a proven record of high quality teaching
  • Demonstrate the ability to inspire and engage pupils when delivering a curriculum
    tailored to meet their needs
  • Have a working knowledge of the UK National Curriculum
  • Add value to our positive and motivated staff team which is committed to continual professional development in order to give pupils the best possible opportunities for success
  • Take a proactive role in initiating activities to enhance the wider life of school
  • Appreciate the cultural and historical importance of the city of Al Ain
