End-a-ze International School in Madrid welcomes teachers with a passion for lifelong learning and the desire to share that passion with students, colleagues and the community. EIS is a new school and about to begin its 2nd academic year, of which you too could be a valued participant.
At EIS we deliver a combination of the Cambridge primary curriculum and the UK curriculum. Our students range from 3 -11 years old and we are lucky to be working in a purpose built environment. Currently we are seeking KS2 teachers. We are particularly interested in people who may want to consider staying in Madrid for an extended period of time.
The key responsibilities of a classroom teacher at EIS are:
- Demonstrated Professional Knowledge through discussion and practice
- Professional Practice through assessment and reporting, and planning and implementation
- Professional Engagement by participating in and contributing to the School's Professional Learning Community
Key criteria for this role are:
- A minimum four year recognised teaching qualification including a Bachelor's Degree and Teaching Diploma or a Bachelor of Education
- A minimum of 2 years teaching experience in a recognised educational institution
- Excellent communication skills, multi-tasking and time management
- Positive attitude and interest in international education
- Ability to work as a part of a team and an interest in participating in the wider school community
- Knowledge of ICT or Music could be an advantage.
