The Director, staff , students and parents of Rainbow International School seek an inspirational and dynamic Primary Headteacher to lead our Primary school into our next exciting phase of full COBIS accreditation and I.S.I. inspection.

Rainbow International School, Kampala is a 2 – 18 co educational school. We cater for both Primary and Secondary students on a shared site and the two sections are supportive of each other, served under the leadership of two Headteachers. R.I.S.U. serves a mixture of expatriate and Ugandan families based in Kampala, Uganda / East African. The Primary School uses the International Primary Curriculum (IPC) for the delivery of foundation subjects.

The school is in an exciting time of its development. We are currently Associate members of the Council of British International Schools (COBIS), but we do not want to stop there. Our aim is to become full members by the 2017 academic year. This will lead to an Independent School Inspectorate (I.S.I) inspection which we have already committed to, and soon the I.S.I. consultancy will begin work with us in preparation for our Inspection and accreditation.

You will be able to manage change and manage your colleagues to achieve success; you will have a history of fostering academic excellence and the drive to develop your career further. As the Primary Headteacher, you will expect high standards from others and you will be an example to others in setting minimum standards.
