Job overview

Due to the promotion of the current post holder, Bromstone is looking to recruit an outstanding teacher with the necessary skills to lead Maths across the school. This post is suitable for main scale or upper threshold teachers, attracts a TLR payment and there will be dedicated non-contact time available. A relocation package may be available for a suitable candidate.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of subject leadership in a primary school with a proven track record of raising whole school attainment in their subject. They should have a sound understanding of how to monitor curriculum delivery, pupil’s learning and a detailed knowledge of the requirements of the 2014 Mathematics curriculum.

The school was recently judged as 'Good' by Ofsted. Our key areas for development are to strengthen the good teaching further, particularly in mathematics and increase opportunities for pupils to apply their numerical skills to solve problems. Could you lead these developments?
