Primary PE Teacher

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver an inspiring PE curriculum which achieves the standards of the Primary curriculum of England, within the context of Jakarta and in this urban school
• Create a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating educational environment for young learners.
• Regularly assess student progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
• Engage with parents and guardians, providing insights into their child’s attainment and achievement
• Collaborate with other educators to ensure a cohesive educational approach.
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to the UK curriculum and international education.
• Contribute creatively to school-wide events and extracurricular activities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education, specializing in PE
• Certified in teaching, with a focus on the English national curriculum
• At least 5 years of experience in an early childhood or primary educational setting post-qualification.
• Fluency in English, with excellent communication skills.
• Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students in Jakarta.
• A collaborative spirit and enthusiasm for innovative educational practices.
