About us:

ACE Alternative Provision aims to empower young people by equipping them with the skills to overcome any barriers to learning, allowing them to re-engage with their education. ACE affords young people the opportunity to develop the resilience and confidence they need to be successful.

We provide an environment which is stimulating and free from unacceptable risks where everyone feels safe and we encourage an atmosphere of mutual respect and co-operation through participation in structured learning, group sessions, mentoring and other activities.

We are looking for:

An excellent classroom practitioner to join our small independent Alternative Provision. We have grown significantly in the last few years and our impact and reputation has grown across the borough of Enfield and beyond.

This is a particularly demanding role and the successful candidate must be committed to creating a positive learning environment no matter what barriers they may face. You will need a high level of resilience and a commitment to working to support vulnerable children. As our primary teacher, you will be instrumental in ensuring the progress and success of our students by continuing raise the quality of our curriculum.

We educate learners with social, emotional and mental health needs, autism and ADHD on long term placements and students from mainstream schools with behaviour challenges requiring respite on short term placements, providing them with a nurturing environment in which they can thrive. We provide a full enrichment programme, personal development programme and one to one mentoring alongside our academic curriculum.
