Job overview

London Academy opened in September 2004 as an 11-18 school and moved into world class buildings designed by Norman Foster in July 2006. In September 2015, London Academy became an all through school welcoming our first 4 year olds. In September 2016, we moved into our own purpose built, high quality primary building situated opposite but separate from the secondary phase building. As of September 2021, London Academy Primary has grown each year and is now at full capacity with students in each year group up to and including Year 6.

London Academy is an ambitious all-through Academy in North London, serving a multicultural community. Our attainment and progress at London Academy Primary is outstanding, with 79% Year 6 students reaching expected levels of progress in reading, writing and maths compared to national average of 59%. Our levels of progress in Writing and Maths place us 1st and 2nd in Barnet, respectively out of 100+ primary schools.

We are looking to appoint a Primary teacher for April 2024, or earlier to join our team of committed, child-centred and aspirational staff; this is an exciting opportunity to help create a fantastic learning environment that will ensure our children get the very best possible education from the age of 4 to 18 years old.

London Academy is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
