We require a talented and inspirational leader who is passionate and knowledgeable about STEM education and who can deliver outstanding results in our new Studio School setting.
We are looking for an exceptional individual who:

- Can demonstrate developing, motivating and managing high performing teams
- Is passionate about securing high quality teaching and learning and high standards of achievement for all students
- Can develop collaborative relationships and partnerships
- Lead the school and its commitment to the on-going development and wellbeing of itsstudents, teachers and staff
In addition you will work alongside the Executive Leadership Team and project team in the planning and preparation for the opening of the new Studio School in September 2015.
The new IKB Studio School will form part of Wellsway Multi Academy Trust, a growing group of schools in East Bristol and Bath, incorporating Wellsway School, The Bath Studio School and Aspire Academy. The IKB Studio School is located on the Wellsway site.

About IKB Academy
IKB Academy is a mixed, mainstream secondary school located in Keynsham, near Bristol and Bath. The school has a sixth form and admits students aged 14-19. It is a specialist academy for science and medicine, technology, engineering and maths, architecture and the built environment.
IKB Academy is part of the Wellsway Multi Academy Trust. It is a studio school, which means it favours innovation, mixing qualified staff with workplace connections, as well as state-of-the-art facilities, to achieve excellence.

IKB Academy has more than 30 partners and positions all of its students to take advantage of these partnerships. Through weekly work placements, students are able to gain authentic experience, working together on projects designed for real-world circumstances.
