Values and vision

Vocational learning is a burgeoning sector of the education system, offering students valuable to opportunities to learn skills and employment training that can be highly valued in an increasingly competitive workplace. Students at MCS gain valuable work experience opportunities in the local area, though which many find future employment.

A key aspect MCS seeks in new students is an interest in one of the school’s two Media specialisms, Film & TV and Games Design, or Graphic Design. The school does not necessarily anticipate immediate expertise in the subjects, but does expect students with a dedicated work ethic. For Manchester Creative Studio is developing an environment in which to challenge its students, and as such, a positive attitude to studies as well as compulsory enrichment projects is crucial.
