The Board of Management of Kinabalu International School is seeking to appoint a new Principal.

Kinabalu International School (KIS) provides a high quality British-style education for international and Malaysian students aged between 18 months and 18 years old. The individual needs of the students are met in a secure, stable and enjoyable environment and the school strives to challenge all its young learners to reach the highest possible academic and social standards, ensuring that they achieve their full potential as responsible world citizens. KIS has over 400 students from over 30 different countries and follows the National Curriculum Programme of Study for England and Wales. It is the oldest International School in Sabah with a well-deserved reputation for delivering a high quality education programme for much of the last 40 years.

The Board of Management is seeking a Principal with the drive and energy combined with the vision and dedication needed to assume overall responsibility for the whole school. The successful candidate will be an experienced and enthusiastic leader who understands the important role that internationalism, global citizenship and diversity play at Kinabalu International School. They must be able to maintain and develop the teaching and learning standards across all age ranges and also enjoy the challenges that a rapidly growing school will offer.

In accordance with the expectations of highly qualified candidates a competitive salary with medical insurance, school fee remission and annual flights to country of origin will also form part of the package
