On behalf of the new owner, we are recruiting an experienced, talented and dynamic school leader to be the Principal of Al Ain English Speaking School (AAESS).
AAESS is an established all through 3-18 years British National Curriculum School where the students achieve above UK average results at all key stages. Several students have been recognized by CIE and Edexcel for their impressive achievements at IGCSE and A levels.
The school is one of the few in the UAE that have received the British Council sponsored ISA Award from The Ministry of Education and is a member of the British Schools in the Middle East (BSME).
Phase 1 of the planned refurbishment programme has been completed and the additional Primary classrooms have resulted in an increased school roll. Currently two-thirds of the 1,122 students are in the Primary phase and from the beginning of this academic year, each Primary class teacher has been supported by an LSA.
For the next academic year, the SLT have worked to extend the range of IGCSE options available for students and with the support of the owner are looking to improve the ICT provision across the school.
