We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, impactful and highly motivated Programme Leader of RE and Personal Development to drive this important subject area of school. This is an excellent opportunity to lead a specialist team within school, developing the curriculum offer and pedagogy of the team to secure strong progress for our students, as well as furthering the development of SMSC, values, citizenship and PSHE amongst students.
We are looking for someone who is:
· a specialist in teaching RE and Personal Development, with detailed curriculum knowledge of these areas.
· a strong practitioner in the classroom, with demonstrable impact in relation to strong pupil progress.
· an enthusiastic and ambitious leader, who has a fresh and creative approach to teaching and curriculum.
· committed to high quality teaching and learning, leading to improved standards and outcomes for students.
· highly organised, with the ability to communicate with clarity and purpose to motivate others.
· ambitious to create a strong reputation for your subject area within the school and local community.
