The College currently has an opportunity for a Tutor in FE, with expert knowledge in Programming to join us within our Computing & Information Technology team within the further education provision.

Within the role you will be undertaking tutorials, either as a one to one basis or as a group and assist with recruitment by interviewing, enrolling and inducting students. You will be expected to carry out the necessary administration related to the teaching programme, undertaking duties associated with the design and development of teaching materials and learning resources while also participating in the extra curricular activities of the department.

Candidates for this role should hold a Computing degree with a focus on programming, coupled with a teaching qualification (or a willingness to work towards this).

You must have the ability to teach Computing & IT related curriculum within Further Education and firsthand knowledge of teaching A Level computing would be desirable. With a creative approach to teaching and curriculum planning, you must also demonstrate good organisational and administrative skills.

First interviews will be held on Friday 26th June 2015 & second interviews for shortlisted candidates will comprise of a short Microteach session which will take place on Monday 29th June 2015.
