Reception Class Teacher

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to join our team as a Reception Class Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a strong emphasis on assessing children against the Early Learning Goals and supporting their transition to Year 1. A secure understanding of phonics, especially in supporting English as a Second Language (ESL) learners, is essential. You will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes holistic development and school readiness for our young learners.

About the Position:

As the Reception Class Teacher, you will lead the daily operations of the Reception class, delivering high-quality early years education. This includes curriculum planning, assessment against the Early Learning Goals, and fostering positive relationships with children and parents. The role requires a qualified teacher with experience in EYFS, notably in Reception. While fully qualified and experienced teachers are desirable, we also welcome applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) with the right experiences and dedication. London Academy Rabat can fully support the ECT programme, providing mentorship and full registration with the DFE.
