Job overview

Vision for Education require a Reception Teacher to begin a long term position in one of our client schools in Newcastle. The role itself is to work in a long term, 3 days per week position that is set to begin April 2015, and will continue until July 2015

The relevant teacher is required to teach a Reception class and must have a comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum. The successful candidate would ideally be a teacher with at least 1 year’s experience working with the EYFS or a teacher with the relevant knowledge that fits and adapts with the ethos of the school whilst providing the determination to progress the children’s learning.

Due to the role being long term, the school would require the individual to be comfortable planning and delivering lessons, as well as being expected to adapt to the full-time requirements of working in the school. The school is 1.5 form entry, and as such, much of the lesson planning will be in close communication with the other class teachers. The school have also made it known that the individual must be driven to provide an exceptional learning environment for pupils and be committed to child progression. Previous experience working with pupils with EAL would be of an advantage.

To apply for this position, please submit a CV as well as a covering letter detailing your relevant experience to Matthew Paul at Vision for Education on matthew.paul@visionforeducation.co.uk or call Vision for Education now on 0191 267 4555.
