BMC is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, based on two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby. BMC was judged “Good” by Ofsted in November 2012 and our objective is to be judged an “Outstanding” college within the next five years. As part of this journey, both our campuses are in the process of a £27.7 million redevelopment, bringing new and improved facilities for all our students and staff.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bank of Residential Wardens to work flexible within our Student Services team.

  • Undertake residential staff wardening duties in Halls of Residence
  • Provide safe and secure residential accommodation for students
  • Ensure that welfare/pastoral support meets appropriate residential care standards
  • Establish effective dialogue with residential students through systems for consultation, representation and complaints
  • Organise social events and other enrichment activities for residential students

This post is on a zero hours contract, therefore, hours will be offered according to the college’s need, which will vary throughout the year.
