Responsible to: Head of School Standards
Contract term: 1 year initially (secondment opportunities will be considered)
As our Safeguarding Officer, you will provide independent specialist Safeguarding and Child Protection advice and consultancy to schools and settings within Wolverhampton.
We need a strong leader – either a Headteacher or Deputy Head of a large school –with comprehensive knowledge of safeguarding and child protection legislation in schools and other educational settings, as well as experience of delivering training and support to schools.

Our new and improved team is expanding with exciting new roles and we need experienced professionals to join us – people who are enthusiastic, knowledgeable and have a real passion for improving outcomes for over 40,000 children and young people across the City.
