Prendergast Ladywell School is seeking to appoint a School Bursar to lead our School’s Finance Department. The postholder will be responsible for all aspects of finance, premises management, catering, ICT, Health & Safety and administration.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A sound understanding or experience of strategic leadership and financial management.
  • Management of areas including Health and Safety and premises.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work in partnership with all members of the school community.
  • Experience in managing people and leading change.
  • A high level of drive and motivation with the ability to motivate others.
  • A proactive, innovative approach to school business development.
  • Hold a recognised business qualification or other relevant professional qualification or can demonstrate equivalent experience.

Prendergast Ladywell School is part of the Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools and as a senior member of the Federation’s Finance function you will be joining a team of supportive and reflective colleagues and a dedicated governing board.
