We now seek a Bursar who will be a key member of the Executive Group and responsible to the Head for the effective management of the finance and administration of the School. You will have overall control and management of all aspects of the school’s finances and advise on financial policy. You will also lead on employment and safety matters, as well as ensuring efficient upkeep and development of the School buildings and grounds, managing 8 staff directly.
Preferably with a degree and/or professional financial management or accountancy qualification, you will have a sound background in financial management, preferably gained in an educational setting. You will have the excellent interpersonal, staff management and communication skills demanded of the independent sector and a flexible team-orientated outlook.
