School Business Manager

40 hours per week- 52 weeks

(We would expect leave to be taken outside term-time) 8am start

We are a vibrant two-form entry Primary School in North Finchley with a Nursery and additional “bulge” classes (in Years 1 and 2). We are culturally and socially diverse and have a strong inclusive ethos.

Our new School Business Manager will play a key role in the development of our school, with particular responsibility for the leadership and development of:

• Administration
• Human resources
• Finance
• Premises
• Management information systems and ICT

• the ability to think strategically and to problem solve creatively
• a commitment to contributing to ongoing school improvement at Summerside to make a positive difference in the lives of our children
• excellent interpersonal and leadership skills; a good understanding of personnel issues
• drive to fulfil a senior role and to achieve the highest standards for our school community
• a flexible and proactive approach
• the ability to self-organise and to work without close supervision
• a sound knowledge of educational accounting and financial processes
• experience of working in a role in a school working with families, staff and children
• ability to use a range of ICT packages and adapt to changes in technologies
• a CSBM qualification
