We are seeking to recruit an exceptional and dynamic School Business Manager (SBM) to play a pivotal role in supporting the Headteacher and Governors in setting and meeting the school’s strategic objectives, as well as leading the school’s support staff.

The SBM will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team with responsibility for all aspects of:

  • Financial Management
  • Business & Academy Development
  • Support Staff Development
  • Transport Management.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Offers proven experience of financial management and can enable the vision of the senior leaders to be carried out in a sound financial manner.
  • Will produce and manage the school budget.
  • Can demonstrate significant successful experience of leadership and management in a relevant setting.
  • Has the ability to lead & manage teams of support staff; both inspiring colleagues and holding them to account.
  • Has a passion for education and a solid belief in the educational goals of the school.
  • Has the drive, ambition and possess the skill-set necessary to initiate new practices and projects, as the school & Multi Academy Trust develop and diversify.
