Bristol City Council’s Trading with Schools is looking to recruit a: School Improvement Officer, Looked after Children
LOCATION: Bristol City Centre
MANAGED BY: Education Services Lead, TwS
Bristol is committed to improving outcomes for Looked after Children. Working very closely with the Head of the Virtual School, Hope, the School Improvement Officer will champion improved educational outcomes for Looked after Children, cross-phase.

This is a fixed-term post. Secondments from colleagues who are working in secondary or primary schools would be very welcome.
Trading with Schools is Bristol City Council’s trading unit. Established on the 1st April 2013, TwS was successful in securing a surplus during the first year of trading. For further information about the services and CPD provided by TwS, go to www.tradingwithschools.org.uk.
TwS is commissioned by Bristol City Council to deliver statutory services in a wide range of education and inclusion areas. The School Improvement Service is a highly regarded provider of support and challenge in Bristol schools. Reporting to the Education Services Lead, this is a key post within TwS.
