Bristol City Council’s Trading with Schools is looking to recruit a: School Improvement Officer, Primary

LOCATION: Bristol City Centre
MANAGED BY: Education Services Lead, TwS

Trading with Schools is Bristol City Council’s trading unit. Established on the 1st April 2013, TwS was successful in securing a surplus during the first year of trading. For further information about the services and CPD provided by TwS, go to www.tradingwithschools.org.uk.

TwS is commissioned by Bristol City Council to deliver statutory services in a wide range of education and inclusion areas. The School Improvement Service is a highly regarded provider of support and challenge in Bristol schools.

Reporting to the Education Services Lead, this is a key post within TwS. As a member of TwS, you will also take strategic lead for an area – e.g. governance.

  • Have experience of working as a Senior Leader in a school or in a local authority;

There are two permanent posts available. This post is focussed on primary schools, although cross-phase experience would also be of interest.
