Are you a qualified Headteacher, Senior School Leader or Local Authority Adviser, perhaps with inspection experience and /or Ofsted inspector with an excellent knowledge of recent developments within School to School sector led improvements?

We are looking for innovative and challenging individuals to join our team to work in strong partnership with schools to continue to secure school improvement across the Borough.

You will work with Headteachers, governors and staff within schools and settings as a single point of contact with Walsall Children's Services. You will employ skills in interpreting and analysing data, of joint observation and in quality assuring provision to validate self-evaluation. You will jointly plan effective improvement activity with individual institutions or through networks, brokering support and monitoring its impact on outcomes. The post holder will intervene in underperforming settings, schools and providers to secure rapid and sustainable improvement.

Whilst you will need to have a particular interest and specialism in either Primary, Secondary or Special, you should be prepared to work across all three types of setting.
