We are seeking an inspirational Science Teacher to join our dynamic team at this 11-18 Free School which opened in September 2012. This post would be suitable for someone with drive, motivation skills and creativity who can deliver innovative and exciting lessons to students. Experience of teaching Chemistry to KS4 and KS5 would be an advantage. The ideal candidate will be committed to success and to providing a high quality education experience, underpinned by a Christian ethos, for children and families of the Atherton community.
Responsibilities include:
- Teaching of KS3 through to KS5 science
- Planning well-structured lessons which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils
- Adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils
- Making accurate and productive use of assessment
- Contributing to the delivery of exciting and innovative project-based learning through developing schemes of work and delivering curricular content
