Values and Vision

Colegio Britanico de Cartagena aims to give its students an outstanding, multicultural education with a view of every child heading to university or towards the careers of their dreams. The pupils are encouraged to be well-behaved, respectful of themselves and others, and to be kind and tolerant towards all religions. The children are taught about their rights as human beings in the world. They are also educated on how to become an active part of both the local and international community. The school states that every child is treated as equals and are “supported by a suitable interdisciplinary team”. The children are pushed to do out of school activities and clubs. They are valued for their participation. These clubs range from football, basketball, gymnastics, taekwondo, music and drama. Students can also take part in dance, cinema, science, computer modelling comic and yoga clubs. There are also activities available to help them develop cultural knowledge, not just academic and social skills. This includes the United Nations Model where the aim is for the students to have a voice.
