St Nicholas’ School seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and well organised Science teacher, who will contribute to a vibrant and successful department. You will be joining an established, supportive and successful department, within one of the top schools nationally. You will have a vision for further development of this area of learning in girls’ education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Science to pupils of all abilities across key stages 3 and 4. There is an expectation that the post holder will also be a form tutor and will contribute to the wider life of the school, through clubs and extra-curricular activities. Due to the current expertise within the department, we are able to accept applications from any speciality, teaching will primarily be within your subject specialty.

As an ECT at St Nicholas’ School, in addition to receiving weekly mentoring from a subject mentor, a member of the senior leadership team will also support your development and well-being. You will attend our bespoke professional studies programme to develop your pedagogy and ensure you make rapid progress towards meeting all of the teaching standards.
