Job overview

We are seeking an outstanding teacher of Science to join our vibrant and successful school (for pupils aged 11-19). Full-time and part-time applications are welcome. For a part-time position, this will range from 2-3 days per week (specific days to be mutually agreed). Applications from ECTs will also be considered.

About Platanos College

Platanos College is a mixed, comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school without sixth form situated in South London. It is an academy state school supported by the Platanos Trust, a multi-academy trust set up with the intention of raising standards and preparing students for the challenges of the 21st century. The school will provide 1,000 places for secondary pupils aged 11-19, when fully subscribed.

An academy converter, Platanos College reopened in February 2011. It was the first school in the Platanos Trust.
