Arnold Hill Academy Science Faculty is an ambitious learning community with high aspirations and high expectations for all, with 97% of core science students achieving A*-C grade in 2014. This is an exciting time to join Arnold Hill Academy as it prepares for a new £14 million state-of-the art school development (opening in September 2016) as well as embarking upon a new partnership with the Trent Academies Group.
We are seeking to appoint a dynamic and innovative teacher who is capable of delivering outstanding science lessons to GCSE level. Biology specialism is preferred and we welcome NQT and candidates with more experience. The successful teacher will be a passionate advocate for all aspects of Science and insist upon the highest standards of behavior and student achievement. Applications are welcomed from both experienced teachers and teachers looking for their first post.
The Science Faculty is staffed by 16 specialist teachers and supported by 3 technicians, working together as a friendly, purposeful and effective team with the sharing of good practice expected of all. Our central belief is that “that everyone will be given the chance to shine brightly”.

TAG is a small multi-academy trust that works with others to create excellent learning opportunities for young people.
