Garston Manor School is looking to recruit a part time Science Technician to support our Science Teacher with the preparation of scientific equipment and materials to support learning in our science room. This post is to commence from September 2015. This will be a permanent contract.

Days and times are flexible, in agreement with the Headteacher.

Willingness to take on training as and when necessary. All staff are trained in the STEPS method of safe handling.

Garston Manor School is a Specialist School for Autism, Learning Difficulties and Speech and Language. It serves students aged 11 - 16 with Learning Difficulties, Autism and Speech Language and Communication Needs. All subjects are taught in mixed groups across the curriculum.

The school is situated on a very large and pleasant site, having recently been completely rebuilt, now offers outstanding facilities and provisions for our school community. Pupils attend from a wide area which extends from Watford to Borehamwood and covers parts of Hatfield and Welwyn Garden City.

Interviews to be held on Thursday 16th July 2015,and will include an ICT competency test followed by a formal interview.
