We are currently seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Science Technician to support the smooth running of science teaching. You will have the opportunity to work as part of a small team, across all sciences, in a role which will allow you to showcase your attention to detail, organisational skills and adaptability. You will help provide our students with the opportunity to deepen their learning and develop their scientific interest and practical skills. You will be responsible for preparing equipment and laboratories for practical classes, assisting with demonstrations and maintaining equipment and resources.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious candidate to join our welcoming team. We have a positive and supportive culture and a strong reputation for progression and development. The successful candidate must have an understanding of a science subject to A Level standard (ideally Chemistry and/or Physics). You should have previous practical experience, however you do not need to have previously held a school/college science technician role to be considered for this post. The college can provide funding for external training courses, such as those run by CLEAPSS to support your professional development.

To attract the best candidates, we are currently offering a £2000 welcome bonus which will be paid within 2 months of your start date.
