A well-qualified, dynamic and ambitious teacher of Design and Technology is sought to help lead our small but supportive Art, Design & Technology Faculty (six teachers and two technical technicians). Subject specialism in either Product Design or construction would be an advantage but strong applications from candidates in other specialisms will be considered.

We seek the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or better lessons. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for Design & Technology and creative, dynamic teaching, presence and personality. The successful candidate must also be able to demonstrate well-developed leadership skills and qualities.

Swinton Community School is exactly what its name suggests a school which serves the local community, located in the centre of the community, with a strong sense of community. We are well supported by the Local Authority and have good relationships with neighbouring schools. We are not part of any larger federation or academy chain.
