Saint Paul’s is an expanding 11-16 Voluntary Academy and part of the Wythenshawe Catholic Multi Academy Trust.
We require an enthusiastic, creative and well-qualified Second in Mathematics for this full time post within the school. You will join the recently appointed Assistant Headteacher /Head of Mathematics and will help lead on all aspects of Mathematics teaching. You will be an excellent classroom practitioner and will be able to inspire and motivate pupils. This post provides an opportunity for the successful candidate to make an impact very quickly in the department and to raise standards in Maths at both Key Stage 3 and 4.
The successful applicant will join the school at an exciting time in our development where we are striving to raise academic standards further and develop outstanding teaching and learning. St Paul’s is a mixed, comprehensive, Roman Catholic secondary school situated in Newall Green, Manchester. Operating under the Diocese of Shrewsbury, St Paul’s is part of the multi-academy Wythenshawe Catholic Academy Trust (WCAT), which also supports three local schools at primary level. Slightly smaller than the average secondary school, it will provide 900 places for pupils aged 11-16, when fully subscribed.
The school reopened as an academy in March 2013.
