Our schools are experiencing growth and we seek qualified and experienced teachers to join us on our journey to promote a curriculum of excellence here in new China.

We currently have seven school campuses in Shanghai (and a new campus just 30 minutes north of Shanghai at Wuxi) which provide various curriculum pathways including:

  1. Hongqiao Campus Shanghai (Primary): International Baccalaureate (PYP).
  2. Gubei Campus Shanghai (Secondary): Middle school based on Key stage3, then IGCSE and IB Diploma.
  3. Pudong Campus Shanghai (Primary & Secondary): The National Curriculum for England (NCfE) from Key stage 1 to IGCSE and A level/IBDP. Situated in the heart of Shanghai city centre, SUIS Pudong is a vibrant international community with more than forty nations of the world represented.
  4. Wuxi campus (Primary & Secondary): The National Curriculum for England (NCfE) from Key stage 1 to IGCSE and A level/IBDP.

Due to continued success and expansion these campuses are looking to recruit additional teachers for August 2015.

General requirements of applicants:

  1. Fully qualified, fluent English speaking teachers with excellent verbal and writing skills;
  2. Holding a degree from a recognized institution (no lower than Bachelor) and a recognized teaching qualification;
  3. With preferably a minimum of two years of relevant teaching experience.
  4. IB PYP, DP or NCfE experience where appropriate would be desirable but not essential.

About Shanghai United International School - Wuxi Campus

Shanghai United International School is a Shanghai Xiehe Education Group school located in China. It is a non-selective, non-denominational, bilingual independent all-through school, with a nursery, primary and secondary school.  The school is the largest education provider in Shanghai, welcoming over 19,000 students a year, including 3,500 international students from over 40 countries. 

Shanghai United International School offers a wide range of education programmes, including the International Baccalaureate, American High School programmes British Columbia Programme and the UK Curriculum.
