Job overview

Agora International School Madrid is excited to announce a full-time, permanent position for a well-qualified English teacher with an ability to offer technology as a second subject, to join our department from September 2015.

Ideally, candidates will already have a background in international education although full professional development in the IBO programme will be available.

The principle roles for Technology will be to design and develop instructional material that complements a variety of projects while introducing analytical and investigative skills that can be interchangeable amongst different subjects.

There will also be opportunities for some English classes that embrace the IBO philosophy of open-mindedness and enquiry based learning while supporting the highest academic levels possible in a safe, supportive environment.

The majority of our students obtain the CAE exams by the time they reach high school while increasingly, some obtain a proficiency level before their university entrance exams. The nature of both these subject and school would appeal to those who enjoy developing a stimulating collaborative learning while creating a genuine spirit of enquiry amongst their students.
We are a global minded, bi-lingual school where strong communication is vital therefore a proven ability to communicate well in both English and Spanish is highly desirable.
