Job overview

We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic Mathematics and Science teacher for our Secondary classes for the 2024-25 academic year.

The teacher will have the ability to teach Key Stage 3 Mathematics. The teacher will be passionate about the subjects and be able to deliver engaging lessons within the Cambridge Math curriculum.

A strong desire to contribute to the school community by participating in our rich extra-curricular life, to be an event organizer or to fill a needed non-teaching role will be an advantage for selecting a suitable candidate for this position.

 

Qualifications

·      A formal teaching qualification such as PGCE, BEd, MEd, Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent teaching qualification and evidence of in-service training

·      BA in Mathematic or an MSc Math would be an asset

·      A fluent English speaker, ideally someone who has experience delivering the KS3 Mathematics and Science (Cambridge) curriculum (though not essential).

·      Capable of delivering quality instruction to pupils with mixed language levels

·      Good teaching and communication skills, both written and verbal

·      Flexibility

The British International School of Wrocław, BISC Wroclaw, is a mixed, mainstream, all-through, international, independent school in Poland. It accommodates approximately 150 students.

BISC Wroclaw was founded in September 2006. It operates another school in Krakow, Poland since 1995. It’s a member of the European Council of International Schools and is fully accredited to offer Cambridge International and the Assessments & Qualifications Alliance exams.
