This is an exciting opportunity for you to join James Brindley School as a teacher of mathematics with the possibility of gaining an additional TLR for responsibility within the department. The school has entered a period of rapid change and improvement following a recent OFSTED inspection.
We are looking for an experienced, tenacious and inspirational teacher of maths with the skills and ability to teach both the legacy and new curriculum at key stages 3 and 4. We are looking for colleagues to join us who have a passionate commitment to an inclusive education that meets the needs of all students.
The role involves teaching pupils with medical needs who are unable to access mainstream education. Many of our pupils have gaps in their education and we strive to implement creative teaching strategies to reduce the impact of educational disadvantage, enabling all our pupils to access learning and make expected progress.
We welcome applicants with mainstream or special school experience.
You will be initially based at any of our sites and may be required to travel across the city as required.
