Secondary School ICT Teacher

We are seeking an inspirational, motivated an innovative ICT teacher to join our Secondary School team. The successful candidate should have the ability to contribute to the teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. We are looking for someone who is passionate about raising learners’ individual achievements with creative and new ideas to build on existing good practice.

• a degree, with a teaching qualification;
• a strong track record of outstanding ICT teaching;
• the capacity to be a 'learner' and a reflective practitioner;
• a demonstrable passion for education which is evident in his/her day to day classroom practice;
• knowledge of and familiarity with modern (ICT based) technologies;
• the ability to work collaboratively as part of a departmental team;
• exceptional personal organisational and time management skills;
• the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;
• the ability to guide students' academic, personal and professional development, as a tutor, in accordance with EISP’s guidelines and procedures;
• an understanding of key national and international educational policies and issues;
• the ability to inspire high achievement in young people from all backgrounds;
• presence, dynamism, good sense of humour and approachability;
• an excellent record of attendance and punctuality.
